To achieve this, we’ve built on established relationships to create a unified, collaborative FE voice for the region. SurreyFE provides a cohesive response to these changes, ensuring strong governance of our skills offerings in partnership with Surrey County Council. It also creates new opportunities for teachers and college staff to collaborate, share best practices, and engage in skills competitions and communities of practice. Through this, SurreyFE aims to ensure that the Local Needs Duty is met and no one is left behind.
At the core of SurreyFE’s mission is the strategic goal to meet local, regional, and national targets for 16-18 education and training, Apprenticeships, Higher Education, and Adult Training and upskilling. This mission is supported by the Local Skills Improvement Plans and the Surrey Skills Plan.
